HUE & HUF
The Harding University in England (HUE) group has had a full semester. They started off their program with 11 days in Iceland and then enjoyed several weeks of London living with trips all over the United Kingdom, including a week in Scotland. By the time November rolled around, the HUE group was setting their sights on some new countries to visit: Italy and Spain. For the first two weeks of the month, the HUE group joined the Harding University in Florence (HUF) group at the villa in Florence. There they enjoyed touring some sites together, such as Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena, the Amalfi Coast, Paestum, Naples, Pompeii and more!
After leaving Italy in mid-November, the HUE group then spent time traveling through Spain, visiting Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Granada and Valencia. As for the HUF group, the latter part of their November itinerary took them to Sicily.
HUG & HIZ
The beginning of the fall semester saw Harding University in Greece (HUG) and Harding in Zambia (HIZ) together in Greece for three weeks. By October, the groups pursued the unique portions of their itineraries. HUG remained in Greece for most of the month except for a week-long trip to Turkey and HIZ moved to Zambia. During the final days of October and into November, HUG and HIZ rendezvoused in Egypt for a week of touring.
While in Egypt, the groups visited Cairo, several pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley of the Kings, rode camels along the Nile to a Nubian village, cruised the Nile for several days, and toured various Egyptian temples such as Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Philae and more! The two groups also visited the Greek island of Crete for two days together. HIZ returned to the U.S. on November 20th.
