Whether you love winter or can't wait for the season to end, February offers some hope with slightly longer days and the early signs of spring's arrival in Provence. Along the coast, the mimosas are blooming, and the towns along the 130 km Route du Mimosa host festivals, parades, concerts and more in celebration of the sunny yellow flowers. In other parts of the regions, the almond trees put on a display of delicate white and pink-hued blossoms.
What better time than right before Valentine's Day to talk about love? AmourAmourAmour.org is a charity developed from a young man's sad, early passing. Turning sadness into a vocation for change, his friends launched the organization to raise funds and increase awareness about brain cancer. Financially supporting cancer charities and medical teams who work with patients, they raise money by organizing charity sports events, selling branded products, and through direct donations.
