Over the years, Team NEO has played an instrumental role in supporting our mission to progressively promote and facilitate business retention and strategic growth in Wayne County. In the last year alone, our partnership with Team NEO helped create over 60 new jobs and retain nearly 200 positions. As a regional partner, Team NEO relies on local councils like the Wayne Economic Development Council (WEDC) to communicate growth potential and in return, we gain access to additional knowledge and resources that further enhances the services we provide.

Team NEO is made up of four primary segments: industry and innovation, project management and site development, marketing and network engagement, and research and strategy. Each segment strengthens our service offerings and through combined efforts, we are able to create a comprehensive plan for economic development projects in our area.

We had the chance to speak with Shawn Starlin, senior director of project management, about the nature of our partnership with Team NEO.

The highly anticipated Wayne County Career Expo is right around the corner! 

This year's event will be held at The University of Akron Wayne College Campus in Orrville on Friday, April 29 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
