Health Affairs (8/4) Changes in Clinicians’ Participation Across Medicare Value-Based Payment Models, 2017-22 – In a longitudinal cohort study of clinicians who billed Part B services between 2017-22, participation in two-sided ACOs rose while nearly two-thirds of clinicians still did not participate in any APM. The number of QPP-exempt clinicians grew during the study period with specialists more likely to be exempt and less likely to participate in an ACO compared to primary care providers.
