FIND OUR ENERGY TO FREE OURSELVES FROM BLOCKED THOUGHTS
ENERGY IS EVERYTHING
When we are riding, our energy flows from ourselves to our horses and from our horses back to us.
When we are in nature, energy is everywhere.
Energy is in the grass and the insects that live in the grass.
Energy in the trees and the birds you see and hear.
Energy is in the sky and clouds that race or lazily shift shapes.
Nature is energy.
We are all connected in that one network or web of energy.
Energy is everything.
This is why the energy of our horse in nature has a positive effect on us.
It brings us back to balance and grounds and centers us.
It puts us back in the flow of the rhythm of life, especially if we’ve been feeling stuck.
Sometimes, we become obsessed with something or someone or some situation. We literally can’t stop thinking about this thing or person.
This limits our focus on our horses and on ourselves. All of our attention is being drawn to this thing we are obsessed with.
The reason we are obsessed with this thing?
It’s simply an energy blockage. Whatever has upset us so much that we obsess over it, has created a blockage in our energy field.
This blockage or stuck energy is keeping us out of the flow. It’s keeping us out of the rhythm of flow with our horse and the flow of nature. It's keeping us out of the flow of life.
Our horses know when we are not fully focused on them. It’s rude and unfair to be with somebody, ignoring them, while focusing on something or someone else.
Our horses look to us for guidance and to help keep them calm and relaxed. We aren’t being supportive to our horses or ourselves if we focusing on something else.
How do we move forward to get back into the flow of life and stop thinking and obsessing over something or someone that is taking up our attention?
We must put ourselves back in our own center. Only then will we be able to connect to the flow of energy. Only then will we be able to connect to the flow of life.
To keep us from going back to our obsessive thoughts, can we begin to focus on just one aspect of our horse and riding?
Perhaps focus on the movement, motion and the rhythm of our hands. Focus on some aspect of our horse’s footfalls. Maybe feel his hind leg stepping underneath you or feel his front legs.
Focus on just one thing and really put your attention and awareness on that thing.
This will help you center and keep you away from your stuck thoughts.
This releases your energy blockage and your horse will know that you are now back focused on him.
It's time to find enjoyment in your training. Horses enjoy spending time with us when we are focused and in the flow.
And it's really nice to be able to connect together in harmony and connected energy.
There is no better feeling in your relationship with your horse.
