Another year ends for Humph Hall

Things started picking this year with a number of fabulous artists performing here in Humph Hall. Sadly, for one reason or another, audience numbers have not always been that good.  I fully appreciate that there is (and should be) still much concern about the bloody virus and that every time we go out and mix with other people we are taking a risk. It is really hard to know what the right thing to do is.

Anyway, I look forward to your support once again when you feel the time is right for you. We certainly have some great acts coming up in 2023!  :-)

In the meantime I've updated the alphabetical listing of Humph Hall artists that I originally put together to celebrate Humph Hall's 10th birthday back in 2015.  I've also updated the chronological list of Loosely Woven concerts. Clicking on the artist's names and the Loosely Woven concert names will take you to YouTube video clips.

If you haven't already done so, you might like to watch Humph's 10th Birthday Bash Slideshow which includes a slide for each of the 300 odd events that took place during Humph Hall's first 10 years.

See you in the new year . . .

Wayne

Join Loosely Woven!

Loosely Woven is the community-based group of musicians that I have coordinated for over 27 years and the chief reason Gial and I bought the former Allambie Heights Uniting Church and created Humph Hall in the first place.

Loosely Woven puts together 3 or 4 shows each year and performs them all over the place - just for fun, never for money!

Our next brand new concert will have performances late April/early May with rehearsals beginning mid February.

However, these concerts begin with a Planning Meeting at which performance & rehearsal dates are finalised and, most importantly, participants suggest songs/tunes for the concert.  This Planning Meeting is taking place here at Humph Hall next Tuesday:

6.30pm, Tuesday 3rd January
Come earlier (5.30pm?) & share a meal

So, if you play an instrument or sing (everyone sings!) then why not consider participating in this new concert and coming to Tuesday's Planning Meeting.  Give me a call if you'd like more information.
