Race 1

Race 1 saw the race controlled by national competitors Michael Kinsella, Dylan Thomas and Wade McLean and saw championship leader Jake Rowe finish sixth. Fellow Victorian's Heath Collinson and Davin Field finished in seventh and eighth.

Interstate competitor Stephen Butcher failed to finish after suffering engine failure; with Victorian Ian MacDonald also DNFing.

Race 2

Race 2 saw national competitor Thomas take victory over Rowe by just 0.11s. Fellow Victorian's Collinson, Nic Jones, Field and Adam Slattery rounded out the top 10 in seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth.

Race 3 saw Kinsella take victory over Thomas, with Rowe taking third and in the process extending his championship lead over Heath Collinson. Fellow Victorian's Slattery, Field and Jones rounded out the top 10 in fifth, ninth and tenth.

Race 3 saw Shane Purvis retire with an engine problem, Rod Lisson with mechanical problems following the repair after his incident in Race 2; along with Victorian's Ashely Clifford and Ken Filbey.

Licence Upgrades

Congratulations to Jake Rowe, Lucas Khawam, Rob Vile and Ian MacDonald on successfully completing their Flag Observation Days during the 2019 August Access (17-18 August 2019) event. 👏

The weather was kind for Jake and Lucas on the Saturday, however was not so kind for Rob and Ian on the Sunday.

It will be fantastic to see you all get rid of those pesky p plates!

Once, thank-you to the four of you for coming down and assisting at a race meeting which was so very under manned.

The opportunity is there for any of you to complete your flags at days like this in the future, let me know and I can assist in finding a suitable day/event.
