Hi ,

Recently, one of my best friends from school days asked me to send her a box of cookies urgently. We hadn't spoken in a long time, so this was surprising. 

She & her family were recovering from Covid-19 and were looking for something delicious. 

After having no taste & willingness to have food for so many days they all wanted something sinful & out of this world, and they thought of Dohful. 

And it made me so so so happy to have helped her out in this smallest possible way. 

But the real surprise was what I got in return. I mean it was something far better than I could have ever imagined, and immediately I thought of sharing it with you guys.

Our newest sales executive here is Navya. She is the darling daughter of my friend who fell in love with the cookies & made this video.

Truth be told, I don't think I can talk about Dohful in such a lovely manner as she did. There couldn't have been a better way to describe our cookies and the packaging!

And the best part was, she did this for a class project all on her own. Self admittedly, her mother just hit the record button!

I can't even tell you how happy I became after seeing this video. Thank you so much Navya! 😘

But coming back to my friend, it's not just her wanting to have something out of the world delicious. I have been noticing a lot of you guys are also ordering cookies for your loved ones who have maybe gone through the same experience. 

When I read your messages of Get-Well-Soon or maybe a declaration of love or even so much as a simple Happy Birthday, I feel very special that you chose Dohful as the carrier of your message. 

It matters to me a lot, knowing that we can make the smallest of difference in anyone's lives by helping them put a smile on the face of their loved ones.

Anyway, I'm not sure if you saw our Instagram recently, but about 4 weeks back, when the second wave of Covid was just hitting Delhi, both Chaman & I (Arushi) also fell prey to the virus. 

When we first realized that we might be affected by Covid, I went into full-on panic mode. I started calling everyone in the Dohful team to see if more people had any symptoms. Turns out Nishtha also had symptoms but apart from her no one did.

That made a lot of sense.

Chaman, Nishtha & I have been working out of our Studio office for the past couple of months. Our interaction with the kitchen team was minimum. And I couldn't be more thankful for that today! 

Plus, the kitchen team was following strict guidelines of wearing double masks, gloves, sanitizing the entire kitchen twice a day, and much more. I think these practices more or less kept them safe from the virus.

It was a difficult couple of weeks that I'm glad are over without any serious complications. By God's grace, we're all fine now.

We were tested negative a long time ago, but, felt too tired and weak to even stand up. So we let ourselves rest, only doing the bare minimum stuff to get by. Hence no emails, no nothing! 

Meanwhile, our kitchen had started operating again once we had made sure no one was having any symptoms of any sort. And our kitchen & packaging team has been working very hard to fulfill all your orders, in time.

We're really lucky to have an amazing team with us. 

Before I go, here are the answers to a few questions a lot of you have been asking us via Email/Whatsapp/Insta - 

• Are we taking orders/delivering currently? - Yes we are delivering all across India as usual. 

• What are the delivery timelines like at this time? - We have not experienced any transit delay for most parts of the country. The only exception was MP & Chattisgarh, due to strict restrictions by local authorities. But the restrictions are now being eased slowly that should be back to normal soon. 

• What kind of precautions are we taking to ensure hygiene? - 
  • As described above, each & every team member wears a double mask, and gloves all the time they are in the kitchen. 
  • Their temperature is checked before they come in & before they go out every day. 
  • The entire kitchen is sanitized twice a day.
  • We are operating on 60% of our staff capacity rotating people every few days so as to not crowd the kitchen.
  • Don't worry guys, we got you!
