Dementia Awareness Session

All welcome!

Friday 15th July -11.30am

A lady from Thurrock Council / Alzheimer’s Society who is Thurrock’s Dementia Specialist will be at the cafe to talk to us about understanding the early signs of dementia. During this informative session you'll learn about dementia, how it affects a person and what we can do to help people affected by dementia in our community, every action counts!

Refreshments will be available during the session. We would love for you to join us. No need to book, however, please feel free to click interested on our FB event so that we can gauge numbers for refreshments.

The cafe currently offers a caring and supportive environment for all, however as a project we are working towards achieving an official ‘Dementia Friendly’ status, This will allow us to support our community in the best way we possibly can.

Buttercream Workshop at Cafe

Julie from Jules Cupcake Workshop has arranged a Saturday Morning 'Afternoon Tea and Butterfly' Workshop from 10-12 at the cafe if you fancy getting creative with cakes.

Just look at these amazing cupcakes. It is £20 per person and as we type there are a couple of spaces left. Message Julie direct on her FB/insta pages 'Jules Cupcake Workshops' QUICK if you are interested to reserve your spot.

Volunteer roles come in all shapes and sizes!

Volunteering at the park includes so many roles and opportunities. Here's a peek at the Hardie Park Board of Trustees who use their skills in business to manage the running of the project as a whole.

There are many other opportunities including a need for a regular shopper and someone who is organised as a finance admin helper. If you think this might be you, please get in touch. Hours are flexible and any offer of help would be much appreciated. Email or fill out the form on our web link clicking the relevant role here >> APPLICATION FORM

While stocks last!

On a sunny day the Rossi counter is always busy in the cafe. If you like to mix it up with your choice of flavours how about trying Salted Caramel? It is replacing Black Cherry for a while. Let's see how popular it is with the locals.

Ices available in cone or tub, with or without a flake.

We usually have in stock Dairy free Lemon and Vegan Chocolate and Strawberry too!
