1pm: Gates & Fan Village open with live music and lots of activities

1pm - 1.30pm: Open training on pitch

New for this season's launch event, you'll have the chance to watch the players being put through their paces by Head of Rugby Johann van Graan and his coaching team. The Tribute (West) and Thatchers (North) stands will be open for you to grab a seat and watch the action.

2pm: Interview with Jonathan Joseph in the Fan Village

Hear from the former Bath centre, England international and British & Irish Lion as he shares reflections and his excitement to be back at The Rec.

2.35pm: Q&A with coaches and players on stage in the Fan Village

Johann van Graan will be welcomed onto the stage to talk about the season ahead and will be joined by Assistant Coach, Richard Blaze.

Following on from Johann van Graan and Richard Blaze, taking the stage will be Captain Ben Spencer, Prem Cup winning Squad Captain Ewan Richards, Miles Reid & Will Butt who will give insight into pre-season and how they're preparing for the 2025/26 season.

3pm -4pm: Selfie and signing opportunity with squad in Fan Village

University of Bath graduate Natasha Hunt is aiming to win a second Women’s Rugby World Cup title with England – and this time on home soil.

The 2025 tournament kicks off on Friday with the host nation taking on the United States at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, live on BBC1 (7.30pm).

Hunt will win her 83rd cap in the match, having been selected at scrum-half, and is one of four players in the Red Roses squad who helped England to World Cup glory in 2014. She also played in the 2017 final against New Zealand and this will be her third appearance on the sport’s biggest stage.

“I am so proud to be heading to my third World Cup and more importantly first home World Cup!” Hunt posted on her LinkedIn profile. “We're hoping to inspire the nation, just like the Lionesses have done, and build on the incredible momentum that is women's sport right now.”
