We're losing our edge...
We usually don't send two emails in a week. But we missed including Howe Sharp in Tuesday's newsletter and know you need a heads up to gather those dull knives, scissors, lawn mower blades* + various gardening tools to have Jesse sharpen while you shop tomorrow!
Sharpening service is first come. Plan drop your items as early as possible, but NOT before 3pm! Please prepare to wait patiently as needed.
Jesse isn't in town often — he is scheduled again for 6/30 + 9/23.
*Note: Reel mower blades cannot be sharpened on site.
Safe packing tip: Put knives between a few pages of a magazine, roll it, secure with rubber bands & bring that along in your shopping bag.
See you tomorrow 3–5pm just outside The Creamery!

WINTER SEASON PARKING
The Creamery's new ice skating rink is open in the adjacent parking lot! Through March, market parking options include:
- Some spaces behind the Square Roots office (carefully enter/exit from the EAST end) + a few spots out front
- Plenty of free parking in the 226 Birch St lot directly across from Braeloch — a short walk
- Free street parking — just be mindful to not block neighbors' driveways!
- Two designated ADA spaces on the WEST end of The Creamery building
- And...there will usually be a few extra spots on the west end of The Creamery lot since market is naturally smaller in the winter months.
Info about the rink + skating reservations can be found here.

Rain or Shine!
We're committed to being a rain or shine market! If there are any changes due to extreme conditions, we will provide updates via email and social media. Check Facebook & Instagram if you're uncertain on market day.
Location & Parking
Find us in the parking area of The Creamery of Kennett Square @ 401 Birch St. The Creamery is open starting at 4pm on Fridays.
FREE PARKING is available on the WEST side of 226 Birch St (across the street from Braeloch Brewing) or at the office adjacent to The Creamery @ 455 Birch St. We encourage you to use the lots versus the street to be respectful to residents on Birch.
ACCESSIBILITY: Two designated accessible parking spaces are located at the WEST end of The Creamery building. Please note that the lot is not an entirely smooth paved surface, though it is relatively flat. If you need any assistance to shop, please let us know how we can help!
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week.
- BRING CASH as not all vendors accept cards or have a minimum for card use. (And cash is always appreciated, as the fees for card use add up for small businesses!)
- SNAP is now accepted by Flying Plow Farm.
- Feel free to use the red wagons at market entry to help carry your load as you shop — just return when done!
Market Manners for Dogs
- Well-behaved pups kept on a short, non-retractable leash are welcome at market!
- Please be sure your dog is comfortable walking calmly past people and other pups of all sizes without lunging, barking, or growling. If you are unsure, please be kind to your dog and others by not bringing them to market.
- If your dog becomes stressed or uncomfortable, please quickly step out of the market area.
- Mind your dog's manners at vendor tables.
- We appreciate your consideration to keep all safe and happy!
