Issue 54- April 3, 2020

Happy Friday, Friends!

"Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out.

I truly hope this finds you, your family, friends, and other loved ones safe, healthy, and well in your "Quarantine Life."

This past week, for me, has been another week of various Zoom connections, virtual conferences, phone calls, self-care breaks, reflection, and LOTS of prayers. In addition to that (and, probably most importantly) also focusing on those areas of grace and gratitude when and where I can.

As always, I hope that you will find something in this newsletter that will help you, or lift your spirit. And, if you happen to discover/find something that you think will be a helpful share for others, PLEASE feel free to pass that along to me as well! We all need a little help and encouragement as we continue to push through this time.

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Please stay safe and healthy out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Annasach(adj): Strange, rare, unusual

  • ADVICE: “Stay close to the calm and free things that comfort your soul." - Lalah Delia

  • MOOD MUSIC: Sharing this beautiful rendition of Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "What the World Needs Now Is Love" that was covered and curated by quarantined students from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and Berklee College of Music. It made my heart smile, and I hope it does yours as well!

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: I may have been living under a rock for a brief moment with this one...but, I just stumbled upon the series, "Schitt's Creek", this week, and I absolutely love it! If you're in need of a funny binge-worthy show to take your mind off of things, this may be it! (* And, if not that, there is always "Tiger King" as a back-up-LOL)

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: For those that find themselves working from home in uncomfortable chairs, there may be a surprising relief you have not thought about it...One of my co-workers shared that instead of buying an "office chair," you should invest in a "gaming chair." The latter is supposedly built for more long-term sitting and comfort (and is supposed to be even cheaper as well). I have heard that Staples is a good place to grab one online.

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: The Getty Museum's challenge for people to recreate their favorite works of art from their quarantined homes has been quite amusing to me. It is truly a moment of levity that we all need. I just love seeing how "cre8tive" people are getting with what they have here. THIS is a fun collective capture; but, you can always mine for more under the #GettyMuseumChallenge (***And, of course, send me a picture if you end up participating!!!)

Came across this thought on @soulisticwellness 's Instagram, and thought I would share it as a motivational inspiration.

Continued hugs, prayers, love, and thoughts to all at this time.

This week's challenge is to remember to breathe, and to take a moment to reflect on some things you are grateful for.

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey!

I am FINALLY in the process of curating some small group virtual experiences that I will be revealing in next week's newsletter!

Stay tuned for that information and invite!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
