BETA Bible Study Group

Our September meeting will be on Tuesday 10th, in the Gallery room at 7.30pm.

Battle of Britain Sunday

Next Sunday, 15^th Sept at 10.15am, with Yeadon Air Cadets and band on parade.

There will be an Act of Remembrance at 11am

During the service Wing Commander (Retired) Jeff Metcalfe will speak about the Battle of Britain and 609 Squadron (West Riding).

Coffee (& tea) makers required !

We're getting rather short of volunteers for coffee duty - so if you can help out on occasional Sunday mornings, please let John Appleton know.

The Season of Creation

The ‘Season of Creation’ runs from 1st September to 4th October each year. It is global and ecumenical, and its a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation. Across the Circuit, we’ll be celebrating creation in our Sunday services on 1st September. Churches are also invited to consider hosting a creation event at any time during the season.

District Synod - 14th September

As you may be aware, we are hosting the District Synod at Guiseley this year on Saturday, 14th September from 10am to 4pm. We need 6 volunteers from about 9am to 10am to help guide attendees from the car park to the church and to direct people once in the church to the various rooms.

We would also like each church to bake 2-3 cakes (gluten free options welcome) and we will arrange for these to be collected on Friday 13th.
