Vol. 9, No. 1 – January 2020

Earlier this month, we announced some big changes to HUE (Harding University in England) 2020. This fall, the group will travel to 13 countries during the course of their semester. (Keep reading below the map to see the planned program highlights.) 

Since announcing these changes, applications have poured in. If you're interested in this program, please sign up soon to claim one of the last few remaining spots. For more information, check out last week's Bison article.

Planned Program Highlights Include:

  • 3 weeks in Florence, Italy
  • 10 days in Dublin, Ireland; Edinburgh, Scotland and York, England
  • 1 month in London
  • 2-week cruise visiting:
    • Rotterdam, Netherlands
    • Copenhagen, Denmark
    • Berlin, Germany
    • Rønne, Denmark
    • Visby, Sweden
    • Klaipėda, Lithuania
    • Gdańsk, Poland
    • Skagen, Denmark
  • 1-week mid-semester independent travel (with included Eurail pass)
  • 1 week in Paris and Normandy, France
  • 1 week in Lisbon, Portugal and Madrid & Barcelona, Spain
  • An additional week of optional independent travel at the end of the semester for those who would like to extend their time in Europe before heading back home

On Wednesday, January 29, the HIZ (Harding University in Zambia) fall 2019 students led chapel and shared their study abroad experience with the campus. You can watch the chapel program here

We've updated our website

HUG kicks off spring programs

On Sunday, January 12, the HUG (Harding University in Greece) group kicked off International Programs for the spring semester. So far, the group been getting familiar with their new home, Porto Rafti, as well as taking several jaunts into Athens. A weekend of independent travel afforded some students the option of visiting the Greek island of Mykonos. Just this past Wednesday, January 29, the HUG group departed on their first big trip of the semester – Egypt!
