I added plug ins to my website.  I've been working on learning these new things.  I am of the I "learn it when I need it" school, and I have been putting this off.

I can now create

• Like buttons & other social share buttons
• Pricing Tables

Every time we are going to hit the road (i.e., travel), I have to conquer a new app on my phone for sharing my Covid Vaccine status. There are simply not enough curse words sometimes.  If you want to know, my favorite is Fuck. 

At a recent Website Usability meeting Rebekah and Penny explained to me that the really good plug-ins cost more than makes sense for a tiny business like mine, and the others are all a little clunky.  True that.

In other news I was unsuccessful in my latest attempt to log into the Social Security Administration to reprint the form I need to fill out to change my name (which I finalized on January 5, 2022).  Long story short:  I have never used my birth name (first).  Jill was my middle name (now my first!) and my passport and my birth certificate don't match.  This can make it exciting when crossing borders.  Apps do not understand that Mary Jill and Jill might be the same. All my health records are in my original name because of Medicare.  Update:  Filled in, ready to mail!

After much nudging from Mitch we finally got it done.  There was a long period during 2020 and 2021 where it couldn't happen because they were not doing unnecessary live court appearances. Now I just have the follow-up paperwork to do.  I forgot how bad I am at filling out forms.  I need a new SSA form because I didn't do the first one correctly.

I also updated all my templates (copyright), font sizes, formatting.  Grim, but now it is done for the year!

I was insanely psyched to get this released for registration. There are so many "i"s to dot, and "t"s to cross to release something like this.  I love the Pricing Table, but it was really tough for this right-brained person to do.

If you can't afford my pattern prices, consider sending me your information to be included in test knits.  You provide the yarn and your time, and make the item before it is released, getting the completed pattern on release.  These are fun.

I always beat myself up for what I don't do. I know that often I am, for reasons that I might not be entirely clear on, just not ready to do it, but still I focus on the not doing.  But I get a lot done, and as my new year thus far proves, that when I am ready, I get sh*t done!
