‘Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel’, which means, ‘God is with us.’ ~ Matthew 1:23 | Today's Reading & Reflection
Whatever you are going through and whatever is in your heart, take comfort that God knows and walks beside you. May Christmas bring us all together to celebrate the gift of life in Christ.

FAQ: The Christmas Monday |
|
|
|
|
Q: If I attend Mass on the morning of Dec. 24 (Sunday), do I still need to go to Mass for Christmas Day which falls on a Monday this year?
A: Yes! This year, the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas are distinct obligations, each requiring separate attendance (see Canon Law 1248). A Mass on Sunday morning (Dec. 24) only satisfies the Sunday obligation, and a Mass on Monday (Dec. 25) satisfies the Christmas obligation. To fulfill both, choose one of these schedules:
- Saturday evening & Sunday evening
- Saturday evening & Monday morning
- Sunday morning & Sunday evening
- Sunday morning & Monday morning
Q: What about Dec. 31 (Sunday of the Feast of the Holy Family) and Jan 1 (Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God)?
A: Both the Sunday of the Feast of the Holy Family and the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God are holy days of obligation. Therefore, the same principle mentioned above applies.

PASTORAL RENEWAL |
+ |
|
|
|
You are called. You matter. You belong.
These simple yet profound words capture the essence of our Pastoral Renewal. Jesus personally calls each one of us to follow Him and to remain by His side, for He deeply loves us.
And it is not merely a call; it is a profound affirmation that we truly matter. Every aspect of our lives - our dreams, our struggles, our joys - carries immense significance, for we are integral parts of God’s divine plan. Each one of us, in our uniqueness, contributes to the beauty and unfolding of God’s gift of salvation in the world.
In this pilgrim journey of faith, let us be reminded that we belong to the Body of Christ, a community of disciples united in the one mission, and bound together by the love of our Lord.
We invite you to join our diocesan Church and begin a journey of renewal together!

POPE'S PRAYER INTENTION |
+ |
|
Each year, the Holy Father asks for our prayers for a specific intention each month. You are invited to answer the Holy Father's request and to join with many people worldwide in praying for this intention each month. From time to time, the Holy Father may add a second prayer intention related to current events or urgent needs, like disaster relief. The second prayer request will help mobilize prayer and action related to the urgent situation.
