Hello friends, family, and fans of fiction ~

While our country faces serious challenges right now—and we sincerely hope for a resolution for each of them—I do have some BIG NEWS to share with all of you at the bottom of this newsletter.

Here are some of the recent highlights from my storyteller's journey; be sure to click on the links for more interesting information:

In early March, just as the Covid 19 Pandemic was beginning to ramp up in the United States, I came down with a cough and cold. I decided to self-isolate right away, and I'm so glad I did. My symptoms worsened, but then ran their course. Click here to read a blog post on the insights I gained during that experience. Seeing spring arrive amidst the Coronavirus Crisis did lift my spirits a bit; I hope it cheered you up too!

Spring never fails to arrive each year.

While we're all frustrated by our inability to maintain our usual routines, Covid-19 has also offered opportunities to learn new skills. Click here to learn about how I'm using ZOOM to enhance my creative life.

During this Covid-19 Crisis I've also enjoyed working—and writing—in my garden.

BIG NEWS! This fall The Night of the North will release; it's the next Lindstrom Wintertime Tale - illustrated by my husband, fine artist Michael Lindstrom.

I'm so excited about this new story, inspired by our 2017 trip to Alaska. Here's a fun book trailer:

Later this summer, I'll be sharing more information regarding the release (and ordering) of The Night of the North. Please check back on my website and my blog, Writ of Whimsy, for more details!

Wishing each of you a fun and safe summer; enjoy the out of doors!
