Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

This week has been a interesting week. I kicked it off by attending a wonderful outdoor Friendsgiving shindig in my friend's backyard (complete with a heated greenhouse and a fire pit), worked at the International Emmy Awards, and helped another friend commence her milestone birthday festivities at a beautiful Thanksgiving fête. I loved being around the good energy (especially, since I am not a big holiday person- and tend to prefer to stay in my little hermit hole). Cheers to friends who make you come out every now and again though, right?

Be sure to check out my pictures, video highlights, stories, and other life musings on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week---I try to post some of my randomness there.

Have an AMAZING weekend and week next week!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Gökotta: (noun)  a Swedish word which means “the act of rising early in the morning to hear the birds sing at sunrise and appreciate nature”

  • ADVICE:  "What screws us up the most in life is the picture in our head of what it's supposed to be.” — Anonymous

  • MOOD MUSIC: I was in a store earlier this week, and heard Chris Stapleton's "Traveler" playing in the background, and instantly fell in love with it and the lyrics.

  • SOMETHING TO TRY: At the Friendsgiving event I attended, one of the other guests made this AMAZING Rasta Pasta dish. She said that this video was the one she used as her foundation- with a few personal edits ( * she additionally used salt, 1 cup of cheddar cheese, parmesan, and a little bit of butter). Let me know if you try it!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: Tired of your cookies turning out too thin when you bake? Next time, bake them in a muffin tin. They'll stay soft and fluffy!

  • FEEL GOOD STORY: I LOVED hearing THIS STORY of an "accidental" Thanksgiving invite that happened between a Grandma and her "Grandson" a few years ago- and, am so pleased to see that the tradition has continued on.

I don't have a writing share this week...and, I am already getting the newsletter out later than I wanted to...so, I am sharing this graphic (as I know the holiday times may not always be a "wonderful" time for everyone). I do hope that each of you have a wonderful rest of your weekend though!

This week's challenge is to do something "cre8tive"- and, let me know how it turns out!

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
