we’re very happy to announce the dates for Public in Private's upcoming event THE RIVER part 1 by Aimé C. Songe alias Clément Layes. 

THE RIVER IS A TWO-PART PROJECT THAT UNFOLDS IN A TIMESPAN OF ONE YEAR. 

THE RIVER PART 1 by Aimer C. Songe

 is happening outdoors in the summer and autumn, on a small boat floating on the waters of Berlin. An experiment for one spectator at the time, a dreamlike moment on the edge of reality.

THE RIVER PART 2 by Jasna L. Vinovrški 

is taking place indoors, in the winter, in a theatre space where a space/sound installation, a solo performance and video projection will be experienced as an intimate parkour.

Both events deal with death, dying and grief - life-changing, intimate experiences that have the power to reopen life and change the way we look at the world.

Throughout the summer, we invite you to a personal encounter on a rowing boat just in time for sunset. Together with different artists, you will embark on a dream-like journey to question the concept of an active and productive life and take time to decelerate.

The performance lasts about one hour and is happening at sunset time on a rowing boat on the water. The boat is 5 meter by 1m40. It is a classic rowing boat.  A performer will welcome you and be your host. The performance is scripted and you will receive a listening device to follow the performance while your host navigates the boat. It is a quiet and relaxed performance. There is only for you to look and listen.  During the performance you will be invited to sit or lay down in the boat, sometimes with closed eyes. It is up to you.

The boot tour will start around Treptower Park, precise location will be communicated.
