Issue 82- October 16, 2020

Hello Friends-

"Welcome back to this week's episode of, "The Cre8tive Life"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and musings.

This week I've been in the throws of getting acclimated to a new big work project, putting the finishing touches on an upcoming "Baby Shower" virtualization event that I have this weekend, and gearing up for another mini series of virtual activations for another new client. Needless to say, it has been quite busy- but, I am super grateful and feel very blessed for the opportunities.

I have additionally been keeping up with my commitment to do my daily art challenge (follow the hashtag #ArtoberWithE on instagram --if you're interested to see what I have been making). I'm sharing one of the pieces in my profile feature this week- as I haven't really taken any "new" pictures of myself in a long time...

Sending you lots of love, hugs, and prayers!!!

Random stories, pictures, video highlights, and other life musings can be found on my personal instagram page (@e101) and official brand page (@thecre8tiveartisan) throughout the week (when/if I end up posting anything).

*And, if you have missed any previous newsletters, feel free to check out the archive section on my website: HERE.

Continued prayers that you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy

(mentally & physically) out there 💗.

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Cancatervate (v): To heap things into a pile

  • ADVICE: “You are enough."

  • MOOD MUSIC: It's been a LONG time since I've been able to partake in one of my favorite hobbies-social dancing (due to the state of the world)... Anyway, I dipped into my Cha-Cha mixes this week, and have been boogalooing to this oldie but goodie, "Guajira Con Sol."

  • QUARANTINE RECOMMENDATION: This show definitely won't be for everybody (especially those who aren't Rom-Com fans)...but, I did find some amusement in binge watching the series, "Emily in Paris," over the weekend. If you were ever a fan of "Sex And The City," you might get a little mindless joy out of this one.

  • THE MORE YOU KNOW: Are you suffering from "soul exhaustion?" And, if you're not exactly sure of what that is...you an read about these 30 signs to be on the lookout for. Remember that self care and mental health is so crucial during times like these!

  • LIFESTYLE TIP: With the transition into Fall, there comes a migration into the world of cozy (at least for me anyway). Here are 55 Favorite Fall Drinks that you can make to get into that feeling. Let me know what you make and love!

  • FEEL GOOD SHARE: Reading and learning about this 12-year-old "boy genius" and MENSA member, Caleb Anderson, brought a smile to my face. I wish him all the best as he strives to make his mark on the world!

My prayers and wishes for all of you!

This week's challenge is to find those moments of peace.

I will be taking a bit of a mini pause on my community activations as I gear up for some new projects that will taking up a lot more of my bandwidth. But, be on the lookout for some (very sporadic) events here and there. (As doing these events, and sharing in community really does bring me joy.)

And, if you haven't heard me say it lately, I want to thank you for your support and readership. It means a lot that you take time out of your day to take in my  little musings and life shares!

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
