FSU’s Great Give set for March 9

The Florida State University community will join together on March 9 for FSU’s Great Give, the university’s 11th annual giving day. This year, the million-dollar day is shifting its focus to donors, setting a goal of reaching 4,500 in only 24 hours.

Seminole Tribe of Florida member’s artwork to be displayed in new FSU Student Union

The Florida State Universit­y Division of Student Affairs has selected a member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida to create artwork that will be prominently displayed in the new FSU Student Union. Later this summer, an acrylic painting by accomplished artist and Seminole Tribe of Florida member Erica Deitz will be reproduced on a highly visible 24-foot-high by 16-foot-wide area in the new Student Union. Read more ...

FSU Faculty Senate bestows Torch Awards

Florida State University’s Faculty Senate honored members of the university community with Torch Awards for their commitment to academic excellence during a March 3 ceremony at the Augustus B. Turnbull III Florida State Conference Center. Both the 2021 and 2020 recipients were recognized at the ceremony.

FSU to host second annual ‘Live Well Day’

The Division of Student Affairs at Florida State University is getting ready to host its second annual Live Well Day, an event designed to promote and educate students on the benefits of a holistic approach to health and wellness. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Landis Green.
