Superintendent Chris Fiedler explained to parents that to this point, the district has pulled every lever available to cut costs of things not directly tied to the district’s mission – empower every student today to take control of their future tomorrow. At the heart of this is classroom instruction and student learning.
Without new, mill levy override funding, the district will make cuts to middle and high school sports, school bus service, and extra-curricular activities. Also, class sizes will go up.
