Dear Eagle Scouts, Parents, and Scoutmasters,

CONGRATULATIONS on your attainment of the Eagle Scout rank!

On behalf of the Michigan Crossroads Council, we would like to congratulate your entire family on this incredible milestone! Very few Scouts can say they achieved the prestigious rank of Eagle, Summit, or Quartermaster. This award will stay with your child for the rest of their lives and we are sure that you are proud of this achievement. In honor of your combined efforts, we want to recognize you at the Council’s annual Eagle Recognition Dinner.

The Great Lakes Division, of the Michigan Crossroads Council, Boy Scouts of America, is sponsoring its annual Eagle Recognition Dinner honoring the 2021 class of Eagle Scouts, Venturing Summits, and Quartermasters on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at The Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan.

This annual event is one of the most enjoyable and inspirational evenings for the Council. A highlight to the evening is linking these youth to career mentors who become advocates for their future success. Finally, we will honor this year’s National Outstanding Eagle Scouts, the highest honor that the Council can bestow on adult Eagle Scouts for lifetime career achievement.

We are writing to cordially invite your child as an honored guest to this event. Additionally, we would like any and all family members to attend and share in their recognition. The honoree’s admission is covered by a Mentor and parent/sibling/friends/guest admission cost is $45 per person. Please plan on attending!

For logistical safety and planning purposes, we ask for your commitment and registration by Friday, May 20, 2022.

Lastly, a one-time opportunity exists for the Class of 2021 Eagle Scouts in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the National Eagle Scout Association. Eagle Scouts and their families making a One-Time Commitment as a Legacy Eagle Scout During the Golden Anniversary Year Will Be Commemorated at the Eagle Recognition Dinner, at Cole Canoe Base with A Legacy Brick, and on the Honor Wall of the Dauch Scout Center.

Additional opportunities, along with a special offer for Eagle Scouts to become a James E. West Fellow as part of the NESA Anniversary also exist. Please see attached information below.
