The Mercer County Fair is around the corner and before we know it, the sound of locusts will fill our evenings…this of course means that summer is winding down. We are delighted to look back on the success of this year’s Summer Reading Program. This year's celebration of bringing communities “All Together Now” has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we owe its success to the support and participation of each and every one of our readers. The Adult Summer Reading Program continues through August, so our adult patrons can still participate and reap the benefits.
The Summer Reading Program leaves an impact on our community, and we are excited to share the numerous benefits for our participants:
- Enrichment and Imagination: Through the joy of reading, participants of all ages come together and share the power of imagination, sparking creativity, and expanding horizons.
- Continuous Learning: The program always plays an important role in preventing the summer slide for our young readers, ensuring that their learning journeys remain uninterrupted during the break.
- Community Unity: All Together, we have formed close-knit communities bonded by the love of reading. Sharing our literary discoveries brings us closer and strengthens the ties that bind us.
