Hi ,

It must have been frustrating since the CMCO was announced. It seems like we have backslidden and entered into MCO 2.0!

We know that as leaders, one of the most challenging parts of working from home is managing your teams remotely. Work is piling up, pivoting needs to be done, innovating new products and services, it gets more intense, and you want your teams to run as fast as you.

But you might find that they are falling behind and they just can't seem to keep up with you or they seem to be losing steam. As a leader, you then end up doing all the work and getting your team to align and perform is like pulling teeth.

There might be many factors contributing to why this is happening. Before you attribute it to external factors (things that you cannot control), let's look at what we can control. In our perspective, communication is one aspect leaders can look at and it is one key aspect to bring your team together.

How effective has your communication been with your teams?

It is one thing to be telling them and expect them to follow and another for them to understand and buy into your plans and the direction you're spearheading towards to. The latter requires enrolment rather than instructing. To add to that, effective communication is not just about using the right words but it also has to do with your being, the vibes that you're giving out.

Want some tips on how you can communicate to your teams more effectively?

Here's a short 5 minute video where we think could help. In this video, our CEO and Lead Consultant, Janet Lee shares 3 tips on how leaders can achieve communication mastery.
