Summer Bridge 2020
Our team hosted our Summer Bridge online for the first time!
New and returning members learned the basics of all divisions (mechanical, electrical, programming, media, financials, art and merchandise, and marketing), as well as learning about the team and FRC.
We welcomed new members in our first online pre-season from September to December 2020. Building on our Summer Bridge presentations, each member got to focus in on the specific divisions they wanted to work in with the guidance of our student leaders and mentors.
Everyone learned the fundamental skills to get ready for Build Season in January 2021!
The unprecedented 2021 season has been filled with virtual, "at-home" opportunities for our members. We are currently working on:
"Invites teams to identify a real-world global issue and develop an innovative solution."
Our team has produced AKTV, a real-world, immersive console gaming fitness system designed for youth.
Our solution tackles youth inactivity while revolutionizing the fitness gaming industry.
Game Design Challenge
"Invites teams to design a FIRST Robotics Competition game and compete for awards."
Our team has produced an engaging game, Pharaoh's Curse.
In “Pharaoh’s Curse”, robots rescue archaeologists from a cursed pyramid by returning treasure--earning points and building alliances!
Infinite Recharge at Home
"Invites teams to compete for judged awards using their 2020/2021 robot and compete in a Skills Competition."
Our team has worked on revamping our 2020 robot, ZHOL's, programming and code in order to succeed in the various FIRST challenges and skill competitions!
