An attempted robbery has occurred aboard a barge under tow by a tug in the Westbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. The Master requested assistance from Port Operations Control Center while waiting for Malaysian Authorities to board the vessel. Thirteen perpetrators are reported to have boarded the barge. The Master has confirmed all crew are safe.
