Please join Caroline Sharp for our online Taize service on Sunday June 6th at 5:00 p.m.
Join Caroline for this online special evening prayer service. It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ's presence around and within us. Meditative songs, prayerful silence, and short readings will guide the focus of our evening prayers.
The service will be available beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday June 6th and will remain available after on YouTube. Please follow the link below to the service.
With the most recent announcement from Premier Doug Ford regarding the re-opening of Ontario, we hope to have our first service back on Sunday June 20th.
Please keep your fingers crossed & stay tuned for further announcements about our first service date.
A Big Thank You is in Order
Thank You SO MUCH to all of our parishioners who emailed and phoned to volunteer to drive Jim Learn to the Juravinski Centre in Hamilton for cancer treatment.
We had an over-whelming response for volunteers for the month of June and we are so thankful to the members of this parish!

Also Happening on June 19th
While the bills at St. Mark's looked a bit different during Covid - 19, they were still there and needed to be kept up. In response to a decrease in offerings over the last year, we have launched a 'billboard' to give you a visual of what our most pressing needs are.
If you wish and are able, please feel free to choose an item on the board and pay that bill by indicating your intention with your donation. The donation for the bill will be a tax deductible item and will appear as 'General Fund' in your statement as well as on our financial statements.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Wardens (Neil Dunning, Christine Hazell, Sharon Bliss or Cindy Taylor) at email@example.com or our Treasurer Lloyd Symington at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our Next Offering Count Date
The next offering count date will be taking place on Monday June 14th.
While the office is close, offerings can be left in our secure mailbox that is at the front of the church to the right of the brown doors. Please pull the lip of the mailbox (located about a 1/4 of the way down the mailbox) towards you to open and slip your envelope into.
Our secure mailbox is checked and emptied daily.
Join in on the Scavenger Hunt Fun
Follow the link below to join in on a biblical scavenger hunt that will take you to different places around the city to explore and find. These places combined with thought out scripture passages will make for a great day trip out and about to see something new (and help to keep you socially distanced while getting out into nature).
We are looking at gathering a volunteer team of 8 or so people to make meals at The Blessing Centre in Brantford every 1 to 2 months. We are hoping to have our team together by July so we can be prepared to make our first meal in August/September 2021.
This ministry will not require a significant time commitment. It will require a meeting to discuss the menu for our evening, 2 to 3 people to grocery shop for the evening and 5 to 6 hours on the day we are scheduled to make the meal at The Blessing Centre.
If you are interested in helping out with this ministry, please contact Christine Fournier either via email at email@example.com or by phone at (519) 752 - 6451 for more information.
