Chara musicians are diligently practicing for our spring recital, "Joyful Noise", to be held at Friendswood Friends Church. An updated list of participants can be found below.
We are excited for this recital as it will showcase your child's progress in music studies over the past year. As with our Christmas programs, additional protocols for our Safer Studio will be in place.

All music recitals at Chara are free admission; however, we always support organizations serving our community and children in the area.
Our focus during the spring concerts is Part of the Art Foundation, which awards scholarships to children of public servants, clergy, foster families and single parents for study in the arts.
This organization provides arts opportunities for children who possess great passion but need financial assistance. Donations can be made at any of our music concerts. Your support is greatly appreciated!
The Ultimate Practice Challenge Results
Students have shown tremendous participation in the practice competition. Results of Week 1 Pets v. No Pets are as follows:
Team Win: No Pet Owners just squeezed by Pet Owners with an average practice of 103 minutes v. 95.45 for pet households. Congratulations to Katherine Janda and Kaytlyn Lazzaroni who won individual challenges.
At lessons April 26 through May 1, students will turn in Week 2 Hair COlor sheets and pick up Week 3, Lesson Day Challenge. Keep Practicing, Chara Musicians!
July Music Pause
We highly recommend all music lessons be ongoing and continuous; however, Chara allows private music students to enjoy a "break" in July during the summer months. During this pause, families retain their normal music time and pay only a $10 fee during this one month break if you choose it. If this is something you are interested in, please fill out the form below by June 11th. Students who drop lessons over the summer will relinquish their lesson time and may not find a more suitable time for next school year.
