Florida State University Professor of Biological Science Scott Steppan was part of a research team that discovered a yellow-rumped leaf-eared mouse, or Phyllotis xanthopygus, living at 22,100 feet, a higher elevation than scientists had ever observed mammals living at previously. Read more ...
