In our latest InkConnection blog, we explore how modular design in dispensers and software can support circularity, while keeping operating costs under control.
A modular system is built from smaller, self-contained components that can be upgraded or replaced independently. Instead of the cost and disruption of a full-system replacement, you update only what’s needed.
For example, a system can be converted from a 200 litre drum setup to a 1000 litre IBC configuration, to handle increased volumes - while worn liquid hoses or obsolete machine controls can be replaced or upgraded, without affecting the rest of the system.
In this way, modular design brings longer equipment lifespans, less material waste, and the flexibility to adapt as your production needs change - reducing both costs and CO₂ emissions over the long term. Click here to read the full blog!

GSE contributes to the Dutch circular manufacturing programme
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development, an organisation of the Dutch government, invited GSE to participate in a roundtable discussion on resource security and circularity in machine building.
The roundtable, held on 18th March as part of the Circular Entrepreneurship Congress in Utrecht, aimed to gather feedback from machinery manufacturers on the progress made with the government’s ‘machine building roadmap’ initiative. Work is underway to define actions in the next 5–10 years that will make the machine-building sector resilient and circular. Read more here.
Alongside GSE, participants included ASML, Vanderlande and Lely, while Her Majesty Queen Máxima received the State of Circular Entrepreneurship at the closing session!
