Hello Friends!

Happy Friday! I'm backkkkkkkk- after a "little bit" of a long (and much needed) hiatus of life reflection/rebalancing, and whatnot...For those old, and new, I want to officially say, "Welcome back to "The Cre8tive Life!"- your weekly newsletter full of lifestyle tips, smiles, and cool things to check out!

Long story short, my spirit had been feeling quite drained, and I was in desperate need of an "escape" in a myriad of ways. My antisocial zone had hit an all time high, and I just didn't have the energy (or motivation) to share in what I thought was a "meaningful" way with others. One of the highlights of my radical self-care sabbatical was taking a trip I had wanted to for YEARS, to Cuba. It was truly a refreshing and reenergizing experience, and really what my soul needed. I have shared some pictures and video highlights on my personal instagram page (@e101) and am HOPING to update my official (@thecre8tiveartisan) one soon---(to be honest, I am actually having a hard time figuring out the aesthetic that I want there, and so often just end up neglecting it...but, I am promising myself to change that).

Anyway, enough of all that (for now)...I hope each of you has been doing GREAT!

My weekly (random) compilation of some of my favorite "cre8tive" things that I want to share:

  • FAVORITE WORD: Smultronställe (noun) A special place discovered for solace and relaxation.

  • ADVICE:  "It’s funny how we outgrow what we once thought we couldn’t live without, and then we fall in love with what we didn’t even know we wanted. Life keeps leading us on journeys we would never go on if it were up to us. Don’t be afraid. Have faith. Find the lessons. Trust the journey."

  • MOOD MUSIC: Listening to a little Jamie Lidell's, "Multiply" this week- after I was reminded of how much I loved it in a store.

  • NEW FAVORITE FOOD: This Vegan Cinnamon Roll Blondie from Greyston Bakery is quite addictive...I recently discovered it at an event, and it just won't leave me alone.

  • SOMETHING I WANT TO TRY:  As a new convert to the world of Impossible Burgers, I am really excited to check out Burger King's version this coming week!

I am HOPING to be back to writing  my own musings next week- but, in lieu of time this morning (and my desire to stay true to the promise that I made to myself to re-start my newsletter today), I am sharing something that has been a big reflection point for me over my little hiatus. I hope that you will find something useful out of it as well!

This week I challenge you to "release" something that is holding you back!

Thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey! I will be sharing some upcoming events that I have been working on in the next couple of newsletters- so stay tuned for more info and invites!

For those who haven't filled out the survey, I can definitely still use your feedback. So, if you have not done so already, please take  5 minutes to fill out:

Thanks sooooooo much in advance for your time!

***Totally disregard this part of the newsletter if you have already done this.

Lastly, if you happen to have any future topic ideas, or come across any events I should know about, PLEASE feel free to send those along my way. I always LOVE discovering and learning about new things!

Have a great day, and be sure to take time to enjoy your life!

*"The Cre8tive Life" is the weekly "feel good" component of my consultancy, The Cre8tive Artisan, which is where I "make the magic happen" and curate engaging lifestyle events that help connect us humans in deeper ways. Feel free to CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE to see what I do, and let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help you out! As always, if this newsletter is "not your thing", please feel free to unsubscribe (however, I really hope you don't).
