Florida needs to ratify the ERA NOW! Some state lawmakers do not think it's necessary to constitutionally guarantee the equal rights of women. To convince them otherwise requires a multi-prong approach.  We have many ways you can take action as a FL NOW member! 

FL NOW Grassroot Equality Day of ACTION Options

Take Action in Person:

Go to one of the five planned FL NOW ERA press conferences.  Visit www.flnow.org for event details or find us on Facebook.

Go to an action sponsored by your local FL NOW Chapter - or create one for your chapter!

Sponsor a local rally/protest of your own with your friends about the ERA.

Wear “ERA YES” buttons everywhere you go!

Go to your State Representative’s and/or State Senator's local office and talk about the importance of ratifying the ERA.

Go to your US House Representative’s office and tell them about the importance of removing the artificial deadline in the preamble of the ERA.

Go to your US Senator’s local offices if you have one.

Take Action from Home: 

Call your State Representative’s local office.

Call your State Senator’s office.

Call your US House Representative’s office

Call your US Senators’ offices.

Handwrite a letter to and about any of the above.

Follow and engage with the Florida NOW Facebook page, Twitter and Instagram. We will be posting ERA-rich content that can be easily shared.   

Post about the ERA on social media.  Tag Florida NOW in your post or a Florida NOW sister/ally.  

Put “ERA YES” signs on your lawn and/or windows.

Donate to support FL NOW ERA efforts.
