EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST are being sought for the 2024 position of DRAMA TEACHER at Z-PAC Theatre.
Z-PAC Theatre is a vibrant, not-for-profit, cultural icon of the Fraser Coast Arts community. We are currently seeking a Drama Teacher for 2024 who would plan and run an after-school drama program.
Typically, we offer 5 sessions, organised over two afternoons per week, corresponding with school terms, with groups divided into Tinies, Juniors and Adults.
The Drama Teacher will be an independent contractor and answerable to the Z-PAC Theatre Management Committee.
The applicant must identify any potential conflicts of interest, have drama teaching experience or appropriate qualifications in children’s drama and a genuine love and enthusiasm for teaching and learning as well as demonstrated flexibility and creativity.
As well, the position requires the applicant to have an A.B.N., independent insurance and a Blue Card.
To be considered for the position, please submit to the committee, a one-page sample outline of curriculum for at least one age group (as outlined above) for one term, teamed with a sample of intended student outcomes. Include a statement detailing the benefits of the program for the theatre and the selected age group.
