September is here, and it's that spore-tacular time of year when summer meets fall! 🍑🍏 Mushroom Festival weekend is upon us, but market is on as usual Friday from 3-6pm. We have a lineup stuffed with local goodness that you don't want to miss!
If you usually travel to market on Union or Broad from north of State, know that street closures begin at 4:30pm. Just plan for a little extra travel time and don't let detours deter you from supporting your local farmers + producers this Friday!
A few things to note this week:
- Bike Kennett is back (1st Fridays only) with basic bike repairs and welcoming bike donations. 🚲
- Brewers Hideaway, Rex Farms Orchard, and Nutty Novelties are back this week! 🙌
- It's compost week — remember those Wastewell buckets!
- Catch these once-a-month producers:
- Fifth Dimension Farm – cricket-based dog treats
- Madi's on a Roll – specialty egg rolls
- PC Grow Organics – loose teas + more
- Revolution Bees – canned, carbonated mead
- Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) + Senior FMNP checks are welcomed by our PA-based produce farms: Full Table, King's Sweet Corn & Produce, Rex Farms Orchard, and Swallow Hill.
See you Friday from 3-6pm at 600 S Broad St, where you'll find plenty of free parking on site!

Shopping Hours
We open "our doors" at 3 PM, and we need every minute until then for all vendors to be fully ready. If you arrive before 3 PM, please wait by the entry signage, and listen for the bell to ring to welcome you in. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
Market closes at 6pm May–October.
We are open year-round, so stay tuned for Winter Season hours!
Location & Parking
Find us in the south end of the parking lot at 600 S. Broad St, Kennett Square, PA.
EASY + FREE PARKING is available on site!
ACCESSIBILITY: The parking lot is a flat, paved surface. There are a few parking spots near the front entry reserved for those with limited mobility. If you need any assistance to shop, please let us know how we can help!
Market Shopping Tips
- Preorders continue to be helpful for both producers & customers, so take advantage of that option as available to secure exactly what you need for the week.
- BRING CA$H as not all vendors accept cards or have a minimum for card use. (Cash is always appreciated, as the fees for card use add up for small businesses!)
- PA-based produce farms accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program (WIC) + Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks from June–November. Visit Full Table, King's Sweet Corn, Rex Farms Orchard, and Swallow Hill Farm.
- BYO reusable bags to help reduce plastic waste.
- BYO cooler or insulated bag to help keep things fresh and safe on warm days as you travel.
- Feel free to use the red market wagons to help carry your load as you shop — just return when done!
- Stop by the Kennett Collaborative info tent or ask one of the vendors to point out Ros, the Market Manager, if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions!
Market Manners for Dogs
- Well-behaved pups kept on a short, non-retractable leash are welcome at market!
- Please be sure your dog is comfortable walking calmly past people and other pups of all sizes without lunging, barking, or growling. If you are unsure, please be kind to your dog and others by not bringing them to market.
- If your dog becomes stressed or uncomfortable, please quickly step out of the market area.
- Mind your dog's manners while shopping.
- We appreciate your consideration to keep all safe and happy!
