This month the video is on how we can reduce Open Loops and improve our focus.
If you'd prefer to read, the transcript is available on my blog.
FREE Productivity consulting for laya Healthcare App users
At the start of February, I and two others (Rowena Hennigan and Lorna Lacey) began giving half-hour consulting sessions as Remote Work Mentors (website coming soon) through the laya Healthcare App. If you're a member you can go on and book us for free.
For April I'm available for bookings Mon-Fri, 1pm-6pm.
We're working to bring the service to more platforms, too. I'm very excited about this as I've really enjoyed working with my clients from February and March so far!
NEW COURSE: "Work-Life Balance Rescue!"
If we're connected on LinkedIn, you may have seen me running a couple of polls. I'm developing a short online course to help people kick-start their work from home situations by separating work and home.
It's based on the most immediately helpful approaches that I've seen work with my existing clients.
The name was chosen by the poll takers. I secretly (well, you won't tell anyone will you? 😉) think it's a little dramatic maybe, but the mob has spoken!
I'm hoping to launch by the end of April but there are a lot of videos to record and edit first.
Update on: Productivity Community
You may have seen this announced in the February newsletter. It is still planned, but it seemed prudent to focus first on the online course to see what the response will be to that.
Monthly Top Tip
It's the System!
People get caught up on which software is better than another, or whether paper is better than digital. Is Notion better than Teams? Outlook or Gmail? Bullet Journal or a business planner? I say forget about all that.
The best system is the one you actually use!!
So don't stress about what you're missing out on or what somebody else is using. Find the system that works best for you, and then work on perfecting it.
It could be a combination of digital and paper, or one or the other. Just try to keep it as simple as possible.
Please get in touch (just reply to this email) if you'd like to discuss your systems. I'm always interested to geek out about it.
Free Resource: Q2 Goal Planner
We're coming to the end of Q1 2021 in just a few days. Are you satisfied with the way that you worked towards your business or personal goals so far? If so, well done! Keep it up! If not, were you working haphazardly or to a plan?
Taking deliberate, calculated steps towards a goal is crucial to achieving it. It also feels very empowering!
