Dermot Kennedy releases an appealing music video for his “Something to Someone” single
Dermot Kennedy is an acclaimed singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland. Not too long ago, he released an appealing music video for his “Something to Someone” single, which finds Dermot Kennedy reunited with the notable director, Paul Gore (Jennifer Lopez, Massive Attack). The striking clip for “Something To Someone” illuminates the pace of the song and captures Dermot’s authentic performance with vibrant color, energy, and style. Seen supernaturally suspended in time and space, the video explores the concept of reflection as it relates to the sentiment of the song.

What a comforting thought it is to know that no matter what you endure, no matter how lonely the world may seem, you’re still on somebody’s mind. It is the only thing. I want this song to be a reminder to whoever hears it that they are loved.” – Dermot Kennedy explained
Since its release in early May 2022, “Something to Someone” has amassed an impressive 8.5 million global streams and was the #1 most added song at Triple-A and #2 on Hot AC radio formats respectively. Furthermore, “Something to Someone” is Dermot Kennedy’s first new music since releasing his hit single, “Better Days,” in 2021.
