Dear Southwest Region Conference Family:
First and foremost, congratulations to the members of the Class of 2026 across our Conference territory! Whether you’re a kindergarten graduate or a doctoral graduate, we salute you! God has great things in store for you! Please keep your hand in God’s hand!
Secondly, we are rapidly approaching the month of June, and English Camp Meeting is now just two weeks away! In only a short time, members and friends from across our five-state territory and beyond will gather at Lone Star Camp in Athens, Texas, for a powerful season of spiritual renewal, revival, and refreshing in the Lord! We eagerly anticipate not only the inspiring messages and worship experiences, but also the joy of fellowship with fellow believers as we pray together, worship together, share testimonies together, and strengthen one another in Christian fellowship. Additionally, our two new housing lodges (totaling five new housing lodges over three years) have been completed and are ready for occupancy!

We’re also pleased to announce a new feature this year at Camp Meeting. Saturday night, June 13, after the John P. Kee Concert, in addition to the basketball games in the gymnasium and swimming at the pool, we will also have a “Comedy Night” with Comedian, Jonathan Slocumb! We’re seeking to add to our social and recreational activities to meet the diverse needs of our conference constituency.
Please plan now to be in attendance at Camp Meeting and be blessed by the spiritual worship and prayer opportunities, the equipping and empowering workshops, and the social and recreational activities including basketball, swimming, canoeing, jet skiing, water splash pad, horseback riding, rock climbing (wall), and “Comedy Night!”
We look forward to seeing you and begin praying now for a mighty move of God!
