I survived #NaNoWriMo!
Now, you might be wondering what NaNoWriMo is, and why I said I survived it. Basically, it is a self-imposed deadline that writers give themselves in the month of November to finish the first draft of a novel. Participants have 30 days to write 50,000 words, which is about the length of a Novella like Twist of Fate.
I decided to participate for the first time this year, and I had fun tracking the experience on social media. What was really great was that I started the month with 40,000 words, and after the addition of what I wrote during NaNo I am now over 91,000 in the final book of The Power of Four series!
I just have a few more chapters to go and then will be editing! I still have a lot of work to do on the draft as far as clean-up and rearranging, but the bones are there, and that is pretty exciting! Heaven on Earth is shaping up to be an amazing story and I can't wait to share it with you!
