My friendly readers,

John and I have successfully made the transition from Connecticut to Key West. I will spare you the details of frantic packing and driving the length of the Eastern seaboard with two unhappy animals in the backseat. But yikes, we're glad to be getting settled!

We passed the time by listening to the audio version of Mother Mary Comes to Me By Arundhati Roy. The writing is astonishingly good, and the story a horrifying memoir about the author's difficult mother and challenging life in India. Highly recommend. (I'm reading Jenny Colgan's latest Christmas book as a palate cleanser.)

Today is my turn at Jungle Red Writers to chat about what I’ve been writing. You'll see that the new cover with the new title for book 16 has finally arrived!

Before tackling one of my other big projects, I have a short story to finish for the Key West Noir anthology (so excited to have been asked, but short stories are hard!). Then I must finish the script I promised to the Friends of the Key West Library for the Second Annual Murder Mystery Tea (coming February 7). They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right? You’ll see what I mean…

Last month I told you a bit about traveling to Ireland. We also visited a little bit of Italy. This cooking class in Siena was truly a highlight!
