STARportal

Engineers Australia, together with the Office of the Chief Scientist, has launched a new searchable database of STEM activities for Australian students.

The STARportal initiative is designed to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities in an accessible way. It is Australia’s first platform that is dedicated to connecting students, parents and teachers with events in their local community, as well as online activities.

2017 Kronosaurus Korner School Challenge

This year’s problem-solving team challenge is in two parts, each designed to appeal to a range of students from Years 5–9.

Teams may start the Challenge whenever they wish and must submit their work no more than one month after starting; 15 November 2017 is the deadline for submissions to the site.
