This is NNPC Correspondents' first News Update in 2025.
NNPC Correspondents covered a variety of issues in the first few months of the new year. From crew matters to cargo claims. So nothing unusual, but new instructions regarding hull damage stood out. With this News Update, we offer readers insight into important aspects of hazardous waste transportation and the new Dutch Seagoing Crew Act.
We also highlight an interesting development in the Port of Amsterdam: shore power is available for (large) cruise ships at the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. This is a great improvement not only for the city of Amsterdam, but for the entire area.
