Each of the 15 berths have access to water and power and are available for rent for classic wooden vessels that are up to 10m LOA, 4m beam and 2m draft. Indications are that the rental will be approx. $600 per month per vessel.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO VOLUNTEER AT THE MARITIME MUSEUM?
At the NZ Maritime Museum we are currently actively recruiting for Volunteer Guides and Hosts. While our wonderful Volunteers have hung on for dear life during the long Covid pandemic, I am now in need of new volunteers to bring to our current pool as we have many exciting events just around the corner.
We would like to offer a free guided tour by one of our wonderful guides to show you a bit of what we do, if you're interested in potentially becoming a host/guide. Alternatively, we could come to you for a chat about what it takes to be a Volunteer host/guide.
No experience needed; all training provided. If you are passionate about NZ maritime/sailing/history/spinning a good yarn, we’d love to hear from you!
Volunteers play an incredibly important part in bringing the Museum experience alive for our visitors, and our Volunteers are greatly appreciated by the Museum staff. The Volunteers enjoy interacting with the museum team, socialising as a group, and meeting visitors from all over the world.
Alternatively, pop into the Maritime Museum and the friendly folks at the front counter will give you an application form.
Please reach out if you have any further questions, I hope to hear from you soon. 😃
