St. Patrick's Day activities and traditions can sometimes include having too much to drink. But, St. Patrick's Day is really about having a good time with friends and family. So, why not try something different this year. From making yummy recipes to putting together crafts, there's plenty of things you can do that people of all ages can enjoy. Here are a few:
- Make green slime
- Wear green
- Have a shamrock cookie decorating contest
- Virtually attend a St. Patrick's Day parade
- Watch a holiday-inspired movie
- Plan a scavenger hunt
- Brush up on Irish/American history
- Listen to Irish music
- Get an Irish-inspired manicure
- Go to an AA event
- Whip up a shamrock peppermint shake
- Give to a green cause
- Have a potluck with sober friends
- Make corned beef and cabbage
- Plan a St. Patrick’s Day themed party with your kids
