It is our pleasure to announce that Aaron Todd has been selected as the new
President Ford Division, Division Commissioner.
Aaron is an accomplished DevOps Technical Lead at Roadys Truck Stops where
he pushes the boundaries of what is possible with cutting-edge technology. With
a passion for Scouting, he has dedicated his time to serving the community and
inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Aaron’s journey in Scouting began when he joined Troop 3 of Charlotte,
Michigan at the age of 11. He went on to earn the Eagle Scout rank in 1999, a
testament to his hard work and dedication. During his formative years, Aaron
also worked at Northwoods Scout Reservation from 1996 to 1999, where he gained
invaluable experience in outdoor living, leadership, and teamwork while
contributing to the development and training of young scouts.
In 2001, Aaron was awarded the Order of the Arrow’s Vigil Honor, a recognition
for scouts who have displayed unwavering service and dedication to their
community and the scouting program.
Aaron’s leadership and commitment to Scouting continued as he served as
Cubmaster for Pack 45 of Charlotte, MI from 2016 to 2019, inspiring young boys
and girls to achieve their full potential. He now serves as Scoutmaster of
Troop 45, a role in which he continues to guide and inspire young scouts on
their journey to become leaders.
In 2020, Aaron endured one of the longest Wood Badge courses, and went on to
staff the 2022 course as a Troop Guide, imparting his knowledge and expertise
to fellow Scouters.
In 2021, Aaron was appointed as the Chief Okemos District Membership Chair,
where he promoted recruiting tools and efforts within the district to ensure
that young boys and girls have access to the transformative opportunities and
experiences offered by the Scouting program.
Aside from his professional and Scouting commitments, Aaron is happily
married to Alison, and together, they have three beautiful children, Samantha,
Connor, and Emma.
Aaron’s leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to scouting make him
an invaluable member of the community. He feels privileged to be part of a
community that inspires young people to achieve their full potential and leave
a positive legacy of service.
