Monday – Thursday: 7:45am – 3:00pm
Friday: 7:45am – 1:00pm

Special Events:

12/06 7:30am – 8:30am Bagels & Books. Join us for bagels and coffee while you shop.
12/07 5:00pm – 8:00pm Family Night. Join us for treats and raffle prizes.

PEC MULTICULTURAL WEEK 12/12-16

PEC Multicultural Week will take place the week of Dec 12-16 with various activities each day and culminate with an evening potluck on Dec 16.

The 12/16 Potluck will be a celebration of various cuisines from regions around the world.

1) Please RSVP for the event if you can come

2) Sign up to bring a dish, beverages, or dessert to share or to help with set up and/or clean up. We also need lighting!

Be mindful of the planet this holiday season!

The holidays are here, which often means more Amazon boxes and lots of boxes, packaging and wrapping materials that generate a lot of plastic waste. Plastics and other single-use waste cause needless harm to our environment and impacts our beach and ocean ecology every day. There are so many easy ways we can reduce the single-use waste. Here are few:

purchase products with less packaging
bring your own grocery bags, reusable water bottles, coffee cups, straws, and cutlery
buy in bulk and create your own servings using reusable silicone zip locks or tupperware
cook at home (you'll save money too!)

Get Involved at PEC

FAMILIES NEEDED TO HELP CARE FOR OUR CHICKENS

Our chickens need volunteers to let them out, help fill their water and food, and lock them at night.

If you are interest in helping with our school's chickens, please sign-up here and email our Garden teacher, Mr. Wheeler to coordinate a short walk-through on chicken care: Tim.Wheeler@eusd.net

GARDEN MAINTENANCE MONDAY

Help revitalize our PEC School Garden!

We are so lucky to have an amazing outdoor learning center and Garden enrichment program.

Our large and dynamic school garden takes work to maintain and our Garden Teacher, Mr. Wheeler, would love a helping hand!

HOW TO HELP:

Show up to school Mondays from 8-10am
Get a visitor pass and head to the garden to check in with Mr. Wheeler about what you can do to help!

If you are a Room Garden Parent, this is also a great time to connect with Mr Wheeler and see what resources you can use in the School Garden.
