Hi ,

Today is day two of the 3 steps to starting a life you love.

I hope that yesterday was a successful day in getting to the bottom of your feelings and understanding what is going on inside your mind and heart at the moment.

Today we are going to focus on finding out who you are.

This is one of the most important things I have learned in my journey. Knowing who you are is so crucial in living a life you are passionate about.

Knowing who you are is also important to be able to truly love yourself, something that is crucial if you want to change your life.
If you don’t know who you are and don’t love the person you are, it is hard to care enough to take the step to change your life for the best. It can be very hard to become the person you were meant to be and live a life filled with purpose.

Take me for an example. For a long time, I didn’t focus on finding out what I liked in life or what I was passionate about. I didn’t focus on how I felt about certain things and how things made me feel.
It is when I started to invest time in myself, trying to get to know who I was and wanted in life, I realized my true passion was to be creative, to use my imagination, and to help others go through the things I went through.

I realized that my true passion was in writing and I got to the point where I wrote my first novella and I started my lifestyle blog.

Finding out what you are passionate about or developing a passion for your interests can help you live a life you are passionate about, a life you enjoy living. Because you will be doing something you love, have a reason to stand up with a smile in the morning, ready to get on with your day.

So to help you to get to know yourself better I have a couple of questions you should answer and also write down. Again, be honest and dig deep. This might take a while to truly form the right answer, it is possible that right now you don’t have it all figured out, but make a start and work from there on out.

  1. What are the things you like doing in your free time? What are your hobbies?
  2. What activities help you to relax and help you to feel free and happy?
  3. What activities make you excited just thinking about doing them?
  4. If you look at your life 5 years from now, what do you see? Where do you see yourself? What do you see yourself doing for a living?

Take your time with these questions, take time to go back in time, and collect information from when you were younger. Try to remember what you were fantasizing about as a child, what you always wanted to be.

Find out what things made you excited and still put a smile on your face when thinking about it. Find out what things made you proud when you did them.

If you would like to have some more questions you can ask yourself, you can take a look at this blog post with 53 Questions to ask yourself to get to know yourself better. Or you can get this self-discovery journal with 100 questions to get to know yourself better.

And that was it for today. Tomorrow we will spend time looking at the final step to change your life into a life you love.
Look out for the next mail tomorrow.
See ya soon!
