Overview of today's newsletter:

  • Release day: EVENFALL
  • Cover reveal: EMERGENCE

“The thing I noticed above all else when unconsciousness released me from its talons of darkness, was that for the first time in my life, I found myself gazing at the night sky.

The second, just as enchanting, yet infinitely more unbelievable, was that the world around me was no longer mine.

A raspy laugh escaped my lips.

I should have been scared, terrified of this impossibility. But I didn’t have the strength to do anything more than roll over onto my back and drink it all in.

Above me, a spill of flickering, pale golden light scattered across the canvas, painting a breathtaking blend of black, violet, and deep blue. My breath hitched as a thought wormed its way in. I blinked, refusing to acknowledge that hopeful voice in case this smattering of illuminated specs was a consequence of my…fall?

Given my undignified position and the sting that crawled across my palms, I had to have fallen.”

Release day is here, and I must admit, it feels kind of surreal that after more than a year since Boris and I had started working on this book, Evenfall is out in the world at last.

If you haven't already, you can snag a copy in your preferred format from:

Amazon / Nook / iBooks / Kobo

B&N / Amazon US / Amazon UK / Book Depository

Boris and I want to thank all of you who showed interest in Evenfall early on, every one of our reviewers who picked up an ARC, not to mention the awesome supporters who were just as eager to see this day as we were :)

Seriously, bookdragons like you never fail to make my day, and I'm eternally grateful I got to meet/chat with so many of you during the pre-release months.

I already showcased a few bookstagrammers in the previous newsletters, but because we can never have enough gorgeous pics, here are a few more:

I also want to invite you to check out some booktubers who participated in Evenfall's pre-release:

(I'm sorry if I missed anyone, but like most authors, I raaaarely search the internet for any mentions of my books. So unless someone contacts me directly or something pops up on my social media feed, I honestly don't know what else might be out there)

So, again, massive thanks to all you lovely, amazing people for being a part of Evenfall's journey - and a huge, hug-filled welcome to all who plan to portal your way to Somraque soon!

What can I say... Merwild did it again!

Honestly, Boris and I swooned over this cover when we first saw it, and (I can say with certainty for myself, though I suspect the exact same goes for Boris) we haven't stopped since. Which only makes revealing the cover to you that much more exciting.

I mean, how gorgeous is Merwild's work?

This beauty will be released on October 29th next year. The ebook is already available for pre-order on Amazon and Kobo (Nook and iBooks should have it in a couple of days since they're a bit slower to update their catalog; paperbacks and hardbacks will be listed next year, probably sometime during summer).

I'll skip posting the blurb here since I don't want to spoil anything for those of you who haven't read Evenfall yet, but you can read it on the series' website.

I wish you all a lovely end of October and I'll be in touch soon!
