Welcome to the first edition of my new-look monthly emails. I'm useless at sending regular updates, so I've resolved to send a monthly email packed with interesting news. You might get the occasional extra email from me - when I have a new book out or something like that - but in the meantime, I hope that you enjoy reading this new style of newsletter. My latest sci-fi book is currently with my editor, Helen Fazal. I finished writing the book just before Christmas, did my edit of it over Christmas & New Year and then sent it to Helen as soon as the festivities were over. The book is slated in for release for 23rd March 2018. The story is set in between the worlds of The Secret Bunker and The Grid and it was great to be back in those dystopian scenarios once again. By the way, Phase 6 is the World Health Organisation's indicator that a plague has become a pandemic ... so that gives you a clue what the book is all about :-)
As soon as I'd finished writing Phase 6, I moved straight back to thrillers. The next book I wrote was supposed to be titled Left For Dead. However, I switched the story to Who To Trust at the last minute after coming up with a great plot line whilst dozing in bed one morning. The story was inspired by my pre-Christmas stay in Benidorm. It's been great fun writing about some of the locations that I visited on my short break. The book is slated for a 3rd May release. I've put some images in my picture gallery below so that you can get a sneak preview of the book's locations.
This is totally random for an author's monthly email update, but I'd like to tell you about it anyway. Have you heard about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies? Well, they've been on my radar for about five years ... if only I'd bought some back then! Any way, I'm learning more about them now, and I've just started a new podcast for complete Bitcoin beginners called The Crypto News Podcast. It's jargon-free, we teach you all about it from the beginning and we even show you how to create a free fantasy portfolio so you can learn all about Bitcoin without spending any money :-)

I've just finished watching season 2 of El Chapo. What a great series it is, I can't wait for the next season. It's a dramatization of real-life events, but the characters and story are fabulous. If you haven't watched it already prepare for a subtitled treat - there are two series just sitting there, waiting to be watched :-)
I've just finished reading The Couple Next Door. As an author, I make sure that I'm consuming lots of bestsellers so that I can keep up with what's hot and what's not. This was a great read ... lots of twists and turns, a heap of secrets and lots of deception. Check it out if you love a good read!
