Music of the Spheres?

The Ancients were cool, but I still wonder how does the Music of the Spheres sound where there is no air to resonate?

Sure, there is no one either to hear it.

Ok. But on earth, music, what is it, what happens?

First, the silence, harmonious of course - then ... the music: a note, a sound that creates an imbalance (donĀ“t we say to break the silence?) and then more sounds will reach a balance between their multiple audible frequencies. These sounds are the result of a voluntary and continuous human action (singing or otherwise use a viola da gamba, as advised Johann-Sebastian).

The natural resonance makes each note produce harmonics, kinds of more or less audible complementary sounds that duplicate and multiply on consecutive octaves and fifths (and more, if affinities). The primordial element that corresponds to sound is aether. Just to show how far it goes: We are "before" air. fire, earth, water.

So our musician has to produce a pleasant moment through a sequence of harmonious sounds.

Harmony is an association (that is what "harmony" means) of all these elements in the three worlds.

Everything is connected, said the Natives.

Whether one is aware of it or not changes nothing, musical action really means acting on the physical, psychic and spiritual levels of each person present, as well as the place - i.e. the building - and the time of the day (qualities of the season, of the day, morning or afternoon, evening ...).

Then return to the original silence (plus the delayed effect of the music for a while). Either we control what happens, or anything can happen. There indeed is a rewarding interest in knowing the effects of notes, intervals, modes, rhythms, etc.

In short, we should consider the person who makes the music, the person who listens to it, the place and the moment when it sounds (with its harmonics in concentric circles over the three worlds, since aether is still there).

Well, all this because today is the last entry of our catalog:

Hypnosis and music

There would be enough to write a book on the subject, but here is already what concerns music for the sheeple.

Passivity: even the musicians who play the music of others are robotic: what can be said of the listeners?

Disinterest: the speed at which we forget the titles of the Top charts is the measure.

Group: obvious.

Start suggestion: to live a good moment of dis-traction, but it is often simply mundanity, the suggestion can also be contained in the lyrics.

Benefits: allows you to find yourself in a particular environment, even join some revolutionary culture between sympathetic brainless (or not).

Manipulators: another notch: all artists who make money are satanists or witches, known or crypto. Not to mention the real business behind.

Rabelaisian conclusion (if you excuse my French):

Music finally is a little like farts, retaining them might bring shitty ideas.

If we listen to shit music, do we also have shitty ideas?

Worse, a doubt invades my mind: if we have shitty ideas, does it mean we might produce shit music?

Que mau de pipe nous byre! said Rabelais ("may headaches plague us")
